J. Patrick McDowell is a Registered Representative with FSC securities Corporation and offers financial services with Radian Partners, LLC. He is a graduate of The University of Tennessee at Knoxville where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Finance and concentrations of study in real estate, accounting, and commercial banking.
Patrick received his Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation through extensive study with the Institute of Real Estate Management and prior to joining Radian Partners, LLC, spent more than 26 years in all aspects of commercial real estate and business development throughout the southeast. He managed investment grade portfolios that typically ranged from $100 Million to $300 Million. Many recognizable Memphis landmarks have benefitted from his expertise including Overton Square Entertainment District, the Fogelman Properties building, The Porter Building, and the Executive Suite. After many years of successful entrepreneurship and project development, Patrick now focuses his experience and talents on helping others pursue their goals. He also holds the General Securities (Series 7) and the Investment Advisor (Series 66) licenses, as well as the state health, life, and variable contracts license. Patrick has been teaching financial literacy course and retirement education through The University of Tennessee at Martin for approximately three years.
Patrick is a native Memphian with family roots here dating back to the 1800’s. He has served as President of The Institute of Real Estate Management, was on the Board of Directors for Central Gardens Neighborhood Association and also served numerous committee chair positions, was Vice President of Colonial Acres Neighborhood Association, is currently President of poplar Ridge Farms neighborhood association, volunteered as a Deputy Sheriff for the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office for 12 years, has been a cub scouts den leader, and is an active member of St. Louis Catholic Church in East Memphis. Patrick has three beautiful children.
His two daughters Kylie and Chandler have graduated college, and his son Addison attends the University of North Dakota.
Laurie Edwards
Laurie Edwards, is a native Memphian with twenty years of combined experience in management, marketing, and customer service.
Her diverse background includes adjusting and processing homeowner’s, automobile, and worker’s compensation claims, as well as rating fire policies for a company which worked closely with Lloyd’s of London to write high-risk policies. Additionally, Laurie quoted rates and tracked shipments for a local export company which shipped various area goods including cotton, rice, lumber, and cranes to far-flung corners of the globe.
Laurie was sole proprietor of a British imports company which she actively managed and operated for over eight years. She was involved in all aspects of operating the physical storefront and online catalog, as well as managing several employees. Her yearly trips abroad to attend British trade fairs helped to acquire an interesting variety of heritage-related merchandise for her customers and also fulfilled a lifelong interest in her own ancestry.
Laurie is currently working toward a degree in Information Technology and has recently obtained the Life, Accident, and Health Insurance License for Tennessee.
Rob Moore
Rob Moore, originally from Memphis, TN currently serves as Chief Operations Officer of Receivership Management Inc., a company that provides receivership and independent fiduciary services to a variety of federal and state regulatory agencies. Prior to coming to Receivership Management in 2004, Mr. Moore had a near 15 year career as an attorney with the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance, where he served as both regulatory and litigation counsel. His last seven years he served as Chief Counsel for Insurance, Securities, TennCare, and Consumer Affairs. During his tenure with the State of Tennessee, Mr. Moore litigated both civil and criminal cases relating to securities and insurance, participated in the drafting of the Model Health Maintenance Organizations Act promulgated and adopted by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, and was a member of the TennCare reform project established by Tennessee Governor Phil Bredesen.
Growing up in Memphis, Mr. Moore attended Presbyterian Day School and Memphis University School, graduating in 1979. He graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Communications in 1984. While in college, Mr. Moore joined Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity and served two terms as its Treasurer. He was active in the Association of Broadcasting Students and the Big Orange Pep Club and was a member of the Interfraternity Council’s Roundtable of Treasurers in 1981 and 1982. In 1981 Mr. Moore was selected as Best Active by his Chapter. In 1983, the University of Tennessee Alumni Association selected Mr. Moore as one of four students to serve the Knox County Legislative Delegation as full time legislative interns during the 1983 session of the Tennessee General
Assembly. After college, Mr. Moore worked at Morgan, Keegan and Company in Memphis and then went on to law school at the University of Memphis, earning his Juris Doctor degree in 1988. He joined the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance in 1990. Mr. Moore serves as a member of the board
of directors of First and Farmers National Bank, Somerset, Kentucky and currently serves as chairman of the audit committee. He has served as a director of First and Farmers National Bank and its predecessor Citizens Bank of Albany, Kentucky since 1990.
Mr. Moore is currently licensed to practice law in Tennessee and Kentucky. He is married to the former Elizabeth Carter. He is a member of First Presbyterian Church of Nashville.
Zane Fowler
Zane Fowler is a Registered Representative of Lion Street Financial, LLC, member FINRA/SIPC, and an Investment Advisor Representative with Csenge Advisory Group, a Registered Investment Advisor. He graduated from Harding University located in Searcy, Arkansas where he obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.
After graduating, Zane started his career as an internal auditor for the United States Air Force working under their Audit Agency division as a civilian, located at the Little Rock Air Force base.
After his time working for the Air Force, Zane later got married to his beautiful wife Olivia. Soon after their wedding, they moved to Memphis to be closer to family. Zane decided he wanted to pursue his passion to help people on a personal level through financial education and guidance which then connected him with Radian Partners. He obtained the General Securities (Series 7) and the Investment Advisor (Series 66) licenses, as well as the state health, life, and variable contracts license in order to pursue this dream.
Zane is an apprentice instructor for financial education and financial literacy through The University of Tennessee at Martin and is on the board of directors for the Financial Education and Retirement Institute. Zane is passionate about financial education and believes that because it is not something that is typically taught at schools or even within families it is his responsibility to do what he can to help people truly understand the power and freedom that can come from understanding their finances. As a young adviser in an older industry, he is excited for the change and vision that he will be able to bring to the table with still having the guidance from professionals who have been in the business their whole lives.
